| How many fertile days does it identify? |
It typically identifies up to 6 day s of High and Peak Fertility. The Fertility Monitor will tell you your Fertility status every day of your cycle. |

| How does it track my cycle? |
The Fertility Monitor is the only OTC product to track 2 hormones- estrogen and luteinizing hormone (LH). Using this information it determines your personal Fertility Status every day of your cycle. |
It tracks one hormone – luteininzing hormone (LH). |
It tracks your basal body temperature, which rises by 0.2-0.4°C because of the rise in the level of the hormone progesterone. |
| When do I test? |
The Fertility Monitor will tell you when to test. Typically you will be asked to do 10 tests each cycle but if you have a long or irregular cycle you may need to do 20 tests in a cycle. |
You must count the days of your cycle to determine when to test. You will also need some understanding of your cycle length history to know when to start testing. |
This method involves noting your basal body temperature (BBT) first thing in the morning when you are at complete rest. To use this method accurately, you must take your BBT every morning to build up a picture of your cycle. |
| How do I read it? |
The Fertility Monitor reads the test results and clearly displays your Fertility Status each day. |
You read the test results by comparing the intensity
of the color of the test line to the control line. Clearblue® Easy has

ovulation test which gives results in symbols, so no more lines. |
You note the rise in your basal body temperature each morning using a thermometer. |

The Fertility Monitor personalizes to you and stores six months worth of cycle data. It is also the most advanced ovulation predictor available over the counter. The Fertility Monitor is completely natural, non-invasive, and can be used to plan future pregnancies. |
The Clearblue® Easy Ovulation Test is less expensive than the Clearblue Easy Fertility Monitor, and is completely natural and non-invasive. |
The main advantage of this method is that it is inexpensive. However, because it charts temperature rise after ovulation it can only be used to predict ovulation in the next cycle. You must, therefore, have a very regular cycle to be able to work out exactly when you will ovulate in the next cycle to make the most of your fertile days. |
